| It's been almost a year since I've delved into Xanga... I guess I don't really have much to say, other than I'm happy, healthy, and ready for whatever's next. | | |
| I haven't done this in awhile. Things are good, things are changing, change is good.

| So, I really don't have much to say on this thing, but I have discovered a bunch of new awesome music lately (or new-for-me awesome music), and I thought I'd share:
- Lily Allen - great upbeat indie ska-ish sounds from the UK. She may in fact be the most adorable girl ever.
- Mates of State - A husband/wife organ/drums duo from New England. I'm straight up obsessed with this band
- Feist - great alt-folk girlie. Love her.
- Damian Marley - the youngest Marley... fantastic reggae hip-hop. And I'm going to see him with Ben Harper in September.
- Hot Buttered Rum - fun jammy acoustic string band... I saw them here last week and had a smokin' good time, as it were. Plus, they tour in a veggie diesel bus.
- Aphrodesia - amazing high-energy Afrobeat funky fusion. They also tour on a veggie diesel bus.
That's all I can think of right now. Oooh these bands have new albums out, so check them out:
- The Flaming Lips
- Mates of State
- Panic at the Disco
- Calexico
- Massive Attack (!)
- Imogen Heap
- Yeah Yeah Yeahs (not new, but pretty new)

| So, I have really neglected this thing. I have lost interest, I guess, but I guess I'll post something. Mostly because I should be doing something else. So, here's what's new.
I have a new job. Starting May 16, I will br the newest core company member of Gamut Theatre Group, so I'll be doing lots of cool stuff like being in lots of shows, teaching classes, doing PR, web stuff, etc. I'm very excited about the new job and getting out of Whitaker Center, a place that grows more and more fucked up by the second, but I am very sad about leaving my fellow employees. But I am not sad about not working there anymore.
And that's it. Which is why I never post anymore. Hope everyone is well.
